In Virtual One: MMA, the match simulation and playback pipeline integrates two key systems:
✅ ROAD (Realistic Outcome Activation Decider)
- An LLM-powered outcome generator
- Consumes agent traits and stat profiles as input
- Produces a plausible fight result (winner, method, narrative log)
- Outputs structured match objects (e.g., agent IDs, result metadata, canonical event tags)

✅ UE (Unreal Engine-based Renderer)
- Real-time rendering of the simulation
- Maps actions to animation states (e.g., jab, kick, block)
- Integrates overlays for stats, commentary, match status
- Provides a broadcast-quality viewing experience, including crowd audio, camera transitions, and highlight replays
System Flow:
- The automated process starts on demand based on a pre-determined schedule. Upon trigger, the simulation orchestrator triggers the match.
- ROAD generates fight outcome and high level actions such as exchanges in MMA or significant events in Running.
- Unreal Engine interprets ROAD data and renders visuals.
- The match result is persisted to the database and made available via the Results Terminal for AIE profiles, fan viewing, and betting platform validation.
